Guangdong's total import and export volume reached a record high of 8.3 trillion RMB in 2023, up 0.3 percent year-on-year, according to the statistics released by the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC on January 16.

Guangdong recently released a set of guidelines for facilitating the building of the basic elderly care system. Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao will host the Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) for the second time from November 8 to 9. From January to July this year, the number of large accidents and deaths in Guangdong fell by 14.3% and 17.3% year on year. Featuring a grand dragon boat race, the event will showcase the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
