Guangdong manufacturing is off to a strong start in the new year. The launch event for the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" spring campaign, together with a home appliances-themed promotion, will be held in Foshan on January 15th, officially marking the start of Guangdong's product promotion activities for 2026. It's reported that the spring campaign will roll out a total of 12 promotional events in the first quarter, including 10 offline and two online, ensuring uninterrupted momentum with "one event every week."

The smart home appliance industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) accounts for around 30% of the global market. From January to November 2025, Guangdong's home appliance exports made up nearly half of the national total. Across multiple indicators, including industrial scale, number of manufacturing enterprises and patents, as well as output of core products, Guangdong's home appliance sector has long ranked first nationwide.

Building on this solid industrial foundation, the Foshan showcase will highlight the latest achievements of Guangdong's home appliance industry in smart, green, and high-end development.

Online, the campaign will partner with six leading platforms including Alibaba, JD.com, Douyin, Kuaishou, Pinduoduo, and Vip.com, to launch dedicated "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" sections. Offline, the Foshan home appliance showcase is expected to bring together 30 to 40 leading home appliance enterprises, alongside synchronized live-streamed sales.

Notably, the spring campaign extends beyond home appliances. It will also cover a range of key categories, including mobile phones, apparel, food, digital devices, cosmetics, home furnishings, toys, and daily chemicals, presenting a comprehensive brand portfolio of Made-in-Guangdong products.
