The second phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is currently underway. Despite severe convective weather on April 24th, global buyers remained undeterred, flocking to the bustling exhibition halls where the "Guangdong Manufacturing" brand shone brightly. A number of Guangdong enterprises rolled out new products that are smarter and greener, drawing overseas buyers to queue up for inquiries and hands-on experience, boosting both popularity and sales.

Marcin Muchinski, a seasoned buyer from Poland attending the fair for the fourth time, paid particular attention to outdoor furniture made from eco-friendly materials. He noted that this year he has seen many impressive innovations, with fresh designs and unique materials. For instance, some tables, chairs and flooring made from recycled materials look completely different. He added that more consumers today are willing to pay a premium for recyclable and eco-friendly products, and that society needs to take greater responsibility for the planet and the future.

Muchinski's observation is well reflected at the booth of Guangdong East Wing Brand Design Co., Ltd., a Foshan-based enterprise. After more than three years of research and development, the company has succeeded in transforming electronic waste into a new type of building material that is both durable and recyclable. It now holds more than ten patents, and its related products and technologies have obtained Australia's CodeMark certification and the European Union's CE marking.

At present, the company primarily targets markets including Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the Middle East and India, and plans to further expand its global presence through an approach that integrates design and product. Muchinski said he can always find reliable partners in Guangdong, noting that he has previously worked with companies in Foshan, Shantou and other cities, and that he has no concerns about Guangdong products.
