Organized by China International Communications Group (CICG) and supported by the Information Office of Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, the award ceremony of "My China Story of the Greater Bay Area" International New Media Products Competition was held in the Zhongshan, one of the cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area on June 2.

On May 15th, a signing ceremony of establishing sister-province relationship between Guangdong Province and Guadalcanal Province of the Solomon Islands was held in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province.

Huang Kunming, the Party Secretary of Guangdong, Wang Weizhong, Governor of Guangdong, and Lin Keqing, Chairman of the CPPCC Guangdong Committee, met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his delegation on March 29 in Guangzhou. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening practical cooperation and promoting win-win development between Guangdong and Singapore.

Police started training for the year of 2023 on February 20 across the provincial range in South China's Guangdong province. The exercises focused on actual combat scenarios such as counter-terrorism, anti-riot, and patrol training.

On February 13, Guangdong held a conference on high-quality development for counties, towns and villages, and coordinated urban-rural development.

On February 8, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce held a conference at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center to promote the province's latest investment and trade policies to Hong Kong investors.
